Mushrooms, Quinoa, and Sea Moss Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup quinoa, rinsed
2 cups vegetable broth
1 cup mushrooms (button, cremini, or shiitake), sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon sea moss gel
1 teaspoon fresh thyme or ½ teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Cook Quinoa:
In a medium pot, bring vegetable broth to a boil. Add quinoa, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until the quinoa absorbs the liquid. Fluff with a fork.
Sauté Mushrooms:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add mushrooms and sauté for 5-7 minutes until browned and tender. Add garlic and thyme, cooking for another minute.
Combine with Sea Moss:
Stir in the sea moss gel and mix well. Add the cooked quinoa to the skillet and toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
